Who We Are

Midwest Design Marketplace, LLC (MWDesignMKT) was established in 2019 to offer an independent, multi-line selection of architectural and interior design (A+D) resources to the trade professionals that design, purchase or manage commercial venues. Our vendor partners source furniture, fabric, and equipment from local and global artisans, craftsmen, fabricators, and large manufacturers of materials designed for commercial use.

Founder and A+D Resource Specialist Carrie Heckstetter Lynch created MWDesignMKT from her passion for the A+D industry and a professional network of trusted suppliers of commercial interiors. Midwest Design Marketplace, now covering MO, IA, NE, KS, AR + So. IL. has become a large part of Carrie’s existence. Her purpose comes from providing designed solutions to better the quality of our lives through our built environment and the spaces we experience. Working with Carrie and MWDesignMKT is more than a sales transaction. The goal is to create meaningful industry relationships with end-users and clients, the architecture and design community, contractors, skilled craftsmen, and manufacturers of specialty products within our built environment.

Partner Vendors

MWDesignMKT is an independent representative of furniture manufacturers and other A+D resource suppliers. Our vendor partners provide modified, made-to-order interior solutions and are not limited to stocked catalog selections. Orders may be placed for any quantity of product to accommodate the needs of guest rooms, suites, public areas, restaurants, residential homes, multi-unit housing, healthcare, senior living, and corporate offices. MWDesignMKT can help you can accomplish your vision within budget.  Our vendor partners’ sample rooms are a designer's playground. 

About Carrie

Carrie Heckstetter Lynch is an interior design industry career professional with over 20 years of experience through commercial design firm practice, contract finish manufacturer representation and consulting.

Carrie obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Environmental Sciences with Emphasis in Interior Design from the University of Missouri – Columbia (Mizzou). She later satisfied the eligibility requirements of the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications and successfully passed the standard NCIDQ exam. She has also become an active member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), the Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH), and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).  

When she is not helping connect architects and designers to the partner vendors of Midwest Design Marketplace, you can find Carrie working on a myriad of other design projects and community initiatives. She is an active supporter of organizations closely tied to the people she loves including the March of Dimes, the Alzheimers Association, Habitat for Humanity, the Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society, for which she co-founded the United by Design (UBD) Cycling Team.

Carrie currently resides in Webster Groves, a midtown suburb of St. Louis, MO, with her husband, Mike, son Gavin, bonus daughter Lucy, and two grey kitty brothers, Gus and Stanley. She enjoys daily runs, jogs, or walks, cheering for her son at his hockey and baseball games, practicing tennis with Lucy, and traveling with her family to their beach cottage on Lake Michigan. She loves exploring new destinations during the cold Midwestern months and date nights with her husband and best friend Mike.

Our Territory

Midwest Design Marketplace is headquartered in St. Louis, MO, and serves clients in Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Arkansas, and Southern Illinois (South of Quincy-Springfield-Decatur).
